Low Sexual Desire or Lack of Libido

Low sexual desire, or a lack of libido, is a common issue with many possible causes. Life events such as bereavement, work-related pressure, and daily stress can lead to a decrease in sexual interest. Additionally, the loss of desire is a well-known side effect of certain medications, including antidepressants.

A lack of libido can also be a response to dissatisfaction, frustration, anger, or unhappiness within a relationship. Sex therapy can help identify the underlying causes of low sexual desire and support you in making helpful changes.
