Online Therapy
I offer therapy online via Zoom, working with clients across the UK and internationally. Online therapy has become a normal part of the way I work and, for many people, it can be a very effective way of having therapy.
For the kind of work I do, I don't think being in the same room is essential. What matters is the connection between us and being able to talk openly about what is happening for you. I work in the same way online as I would if we were sitting together in a therapy room. I will listen, ask questions and, when I think it might be useful, have something to say.
You don't need to have everything worked out before you start. You may have a fairly clear idea of what you want help with, or you may simply know that something isn't working and want to understand it better. We can work that out together.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
How often are sessions, and how long do they last?
Sessions are 60 minutes long and typically take place weekly on the same day and time. That said, I’m flexible. Some clients prefer fortnightly sessions, especially after the initial phase. Often more time between sessions can support meaningful change. I’m happy to offer flexibility with days and times where possible.
-
Are all sessions online?
Yes, all sessions are conducted online.
-
Do you work with people outside the UK?
I work with clients internationally as well as across the UK. If you are outside the UK, we can discuss the practicalities of working across different time zones when you make contact.
-
What is the cost of sessions?
Each session lasts 60 minutes and my fee is £80 per session.
Will you just sit and listen to me talk?
No, that won't happen. Therapy is an interactive, collaborative process. I believe that good connection and two-way communication are essential for therapy to be successful. I will listen to what you have to say, but I will also ask questions, offer observations and, where I think it might be helpful, challenge you to look at things differently.

What happens in the introductory session? Do I need to prepare?
I offer a free 30-minute introductory session via Zoom. This is an informal conversation where we can talk about what has been going on for you, what you would like help with and any questions you have about therapy.
You don't need to prepare anything or know exactly what you want to say. The session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of me and how I work, and for us to decide whether you think I might be the right therapist for you.
