Frequently Asked Questions

  • How often are sessions, and how long do they last?

Sessions are 60 minutes long and typically take place weekly at the same day and time. That said, I’m flexible—some clients prefer fortnightly sessions, especially after the initial assessment phase. A little more time between sessions can support integration, and meaningful change. Since I work online, I’m happy to offer flexibility with days and times where possible.

  • Are all sessions online?

Yes, all sessions are conducted online. I work with clients across the UK and internationally.

  • What is the cost of sessions?

Each session is 60 minutes and costs £90.

  • Will you just sit and listen to me talk?

No, that won't happen.  Therapy with me is an active, collaborative process. I’ll ask questions, offer insights, and gently challenge you—always in a way that supports your goals. We’ll work together to explore what’s most important to you.

  • How do I choose the right therapist?

A good fit between therapist and client is key. I offer a free 30-minute Zoom consultation so we can meet, talk through what you’re looking for, and see if we’re a good match. Many people speak with a few therapists before deciding—this is completely normal and often helpful.

  • How long does a course of therapy usually last?

That all depends. For some, five or six sessions are enough; others may benefit from longer-term work, anywhere from 10 to 15 sessions or more. We’ll review your progress regularly and work at a pace that feels right for you.

  • What happens in the introductory session? Do I need to prepare?

No preparation is needed. The introductory session is a relaxed conversation where we can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to get from it. Taking this first step is often a powerful move toward change.
